SMARTE™ is a hybrid surfacing system that complies with ADAAG requirements, including firmness, stability and slip resistance.
It incorporates loose fill robber mulch which is contained in geo-textile “pillows” placed on a foundation of compacted soil and a 4” (0.1m) compacted layer of crushed stone.
It is topped by a unitary top layer that improves access to the playground and promotes inclusive play.
